Boogie

Boogie is perhaps one of the best party games you are ever going to play. In its most basic form it is a karaoke game but when you start playing you realise it is so much more than that. The game comes complete with a microphone for you to record your vocals with over 35 of the most well known party songs you can even think of including It’s Raining Men by the Weather Girls and ABC by The Jackson 5. You also then get to use the Wii remote and nunchuck to control your onscreen character, making them dance all over the screen with the remote used to dance and shake and the nunchuck used for facial expressions and upper body movement.

Using an incredibly intuitive editing system, you can then mix it all together and create your very own music video using all kinds of environments, special effects and camera angles. You can use one of the games in built characters or you can create your very own cartoon character to showcase your singing and dancing ability. The graphics in Boogie are extremely well done in a cartoon style similar to The Simpsons and Futurama but it’s not the games looks which will hook you it’s the sheer amount of fun you can have belting out your favourite hits in front of family and friends. Boogie also includes a story mode which is quite entertaining if your playing on your own but the game really comes into it’s own in multiplayer.

There are several game types including co-op gameplay and head to head battles, all of which will go down a storm at parties. The game is very easy to use and anyone from any age group will be able to pick up this game and have a go making this a must have game for parties.
