EA Playground is a compilation of mini games in a similar style to Wii Sports. You will find some of the games are similar to others you have played such as Tether Ball but some of the games are very unique and highly addictive like Paper Pilots and Dodge ball. Also included on the disc are Wall Ball, Slot Car Racing, Dart Shootout and Kicks. All of the games make good use of the Wii remote using it in its most basic and most accessible form making it inviting to users of all ages. The game features both single player and multi player modes, both of which are incredibly fun and will keep you coming back for more.

The single player game involves working your way through the playground, attempting to play computer opponents at the games which get steadily more difficult as you progress. As you defeat each opponent, you collect marbles and stickers to be used for power ups and eventually you get a perfect report card and become the playground champion. The single player mode will not take even the weakest of gamers very long to complete but it is addictive enough to keep returning too.

As with most Nintendo Wii games, the multi player section of the game is the one which will likely get used the most. When played with friends, the game can become quite competitive meaning you will be playing again and again just to try and be the best. The graphics won’t exactly blow you out of the water and all the games are extremely simple but it is for this reason that the game is as fun as it is. If you find Wii Sports getting put on your console every time someone visits your house, this is exactly the type of game you should buy.
